What is a heavy duty washer?
Heavy duty washers are annular discs which have a high axial loading force.
Heavy duty washers are standardized in accordance with DIN 6796 and Din 267, part 26, and used for securing screw connections as per DIN 267.
Their purpose is to compensate for the loss of preload caused by settling and/or creeping.
The heavy duty washers are manufactured from spring steel as per EN 10132-4 (e.g. C60S) and predominantly finished with a mechanically galvanized surface coating.
